Great pictures, Great blog. Thanks for sharing this. We watched some of Jonah's games and he certainly played some entertaining and brilliant chess. The 6 wins a row "wowed" us all, and he was really unlucky with the last game. Nevertheless his performance was an inspiration to us all in the B.C. chess community. Fantastic tournament Jonah (and Dad). Three cheers!!! for Jonah...Hip Hip...Hooray!! And the next time we meet we shall do a round of tabasco shots to celebrate your victory, in keeping with our tradition and commamraderie shared over the years.

Jonah you played the tournament of your life! Now you have to go back to work, analyze all your games and learn more to get another shot at this highest level.
It is true some strong players from around the World did not come to Vietnam, but you took advantage nevertheless. Don't let this be a one time Cinderella story! Winning brings both happiness and expectations :-)
